1. Our role

Croatia Dental Guide helps people understand dental treatment in Croatia, compare information and find practical next steps.

We are not a dental clinic. Our role is to provide independent education, research support and, where appropriate, introductions to clinics that meet our standards.

2. How we may earn money

Croatia Dental Guide may earn revenue through one or more of the following:

• fees paid by clinics for eligible patient introductions;
• fixed partnership or listing fees;
• sponsored content that is clearly labelled;
• affiliate links to relevant travel, accommodation or other services;
• content-production or marketing services provided separately to clinics; and
• future paid research, concierge or related services.

The exact model may develop as the project grows. This page will be updated when new commercial arrangements are introduced.

3. No markup on clinic prices

Croatia Dental Guide does not add a markup to the clinic’s treatment price.

Where a clinic pays us an introduction or partnership fee, that payment should come from the clinic under a separate commercial arrangement. The clinic remains responsible for its own quotation and for explaining all treatment charges directly to you.

You should confirm in writing what the clinic price includes and whether it is the same as the price available when contacting the clinic directly.

4. Recommendations are not for sale

A clinic cannot buy a positive review, guaranteed recommendation or preferred conclusion.

Payment alone does not qualify a clinic for inclusion. We aim to consider factors such as:

• clinical experience and professional credentials;
• diagnostic and treatment-planning standards;
• communication and pricing transparency;
• materials, technology and laboratory arrangements;
• aftercare, warranties and complication procedures; and
• whether we would feel comfortable recommending the clinic to our own family.

5. Clinic options and patient choice

A clinic may appear in a shortlist because it seems relevant to the information you provided and meets the standards we apply at that time.

This does not mean that it is the only suitable clinic or the right choice for every person. You remain free to:

• contact clinics independently;
• compare our suggestions with other options;
• seek a second dental opinion;
• choose a clinic that has no commercial relationship with us; or
• decide that treatment abroad is not right for you.

6. Sponsored and affiliate content

Where content is paid for, sponsored or contains an affiliate relationship, we will make the commercial nature clear where readers are likely to see it.

Labels may include:

• Advertisement or Ad;
• Sponsored;
• Paid partnership; or
• Affiliate link or a clear statement that we may earn a commission.

Editorial guides should not be presented as independent reviews if a commercial partner controls their claims or conclusions.

7. Gifts, discounts and clinic visits

If a clinic provides travel, accommodation, hospitality, free services, discounts or another material benefit connected with coverage, we will disclose that relationship where it could reasonably affect how readers understand the content.

8. Content-production services

Croatia Dental Guide may separately produce photography, video, written content or marketing material for clinics for a fee.

Work created for a clinic will be treated as client work. It will not automatically result in editorial endorsement, preferential ranking or inclusion in patient recommendations.

9. Accuracy and clinic claims

Clinics are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide about their teams, prices, facilities, materials, warranties and treatment services.

We aim to verify important claims where practical, but information can change. Patients should confirm all material details directly with the clinic before making a decision.

10. Complaints or concerns

If you believe a commercial relationship has not been disclosed clearly, or that a recommendation appears inconsistent with this policy, please contact us. We will review the concern and correct or clarify the content where appropriate.

11. Current position

At the date shown above, Croatia Dental Guide is still developing its clinic network and commercial model. A clinic appearing in educational content should not be assumed to be a paying partner unless this is stated.
